Recently a guest had forgotten to apply sunscreen, and ended up with a nasty burn. Beth immediately advised her to put wet teabags on the site, to soothe the burn.
For larger areas, she says all you have to do fill a tub with warm water and toss in a few tea bags. Relax and soak your body in the tea water for 30 minutes or so, and then rinse well and gently pat yourself dry rather than rubbing with the towel, to avoid additional irritation of the skin.
Alternatively, soak a towel in tea water and pat yourself with the wet tea towel.
