Everything’s coming up roses! Perhaps we have the wrong lyrics. Well at the Harrison House we are now enjoying tulips. They abound in all different kinds around the Inns.

Erin, our resident innkeeper will go out of her way to help you particularly if you happen to be or bring a four-legged friend. She is the jack-of-all-trades, helping with the gardens, painting, and assisting with breakfast each morning. She is a 3-year islander, moving here from Maryland, with her dogs, Lily & Maya. She is also a certified scuba instructor and enjoys picnics and barbecues on the beaches on San Juan Island.

Stephanie, our concierge, can do magic with the most complicated travel plans. Our resident sailor, Stephanie and her husband Jeff spent 4 years cruising before finally retiring to the San Juans full time. We are glad she is not fully retired yet! Your first experience with Stephanie will be her reassuring calm voice on the phone even when you have been wait listed for the next ferry. Stephanie is very active in many local service groups, tirelessly volunteering to make our community the wonderful place it is to live.

Before moving to the Islands in 2005, Dave worked as a software engineer and Anna Maria in public broadcasting. They worked and played hard. What drew them to the life as innkeepers was their love of entertaining, cooking, and sharing fine cooked meals and the fruits of their garden with family and friends.
Both Anna Maria and Dave are certified scuba instructors and enjoy many other outdoor activities including golfing, hiking, gardening and downhill skiing. Anna Maria is a classically trained flutist. Since moving to the Islands, Dave has taken up flying. He puts his hobby to good use year round by flying off island regularly to select the freshest seasonal produce from neighboring farms for our breakfast table.
