I’ve had ever… away from home.  I look forward to coming back one day and have already told

Guests Rave over Healthy Breakfast and Off-Season Luxury

Hi there,

We had a lovely stay at Tucker House (Harrison House).  Breakfast was fantastic!  I loved having breakfast in our room.  Often when I travel my stomach gets upset with too much greasy food but your breakfast was AMAZING and I loved that it was lowfat and possibly non gluten and healthy, healthy, healthy. The Friday Suite is delightful and I would love to stay there again.  Thank you so much for the last minute special as I phoned the day before coming and was thrilled to be booked into the Friday Suite… an off season luxury that I know we wouldn’t be able to afford mid summer.  We watched movies both nights we were there, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the spaciousness of the place… seeing as it was winter/spring and quite cold to be out and about it was wonderful to have inside space to spread out in.  I loved the hospitality… staff was wonderful… no complaints… who made that amazing chocolate chip sponge cake?  I would love to make it at home… I still think about it!  The king size bed was to die for comfortable and the pillows win best ever award for comfort of any place I’ve ever stayed in EVER.  Usually I bring my own pillow but won’t worry about that again for the Friday Suite.  It was blissfully quiet and peaceful and I had two nights of wonderful sleep.

Guests Enjoy Roche Harbor Cottage

On behalf of Allen and myself I wanted to share with you how very much we enjoyed our stay on the beautiful San Juan Island. Our accommodations at the Harrison House truly exceeded our expectations. The Roche Harbor Cottage was tastefully adorned and the morning meals were superb. Our hats off to you and your staff for helping to make our “little getaway” most memorable. We will be back, perhaps next year.

Gracious Hospitality at Friday Harbor Inn

Greetings Harrison House Suites staff,

We want to thank you for an amazing stay on San Juan Island.  the Friday Harbor Suite was incredible.  We took full advantage of every aspect of the suite.  We cooked dinner one night, using some of the refrigerated items left in the room, and utilized the hot tub every night of our stay.  it was lovely having our own private place away from home.

The breakfasts were wonderfully prepared and presented.  And the cookies/chocolates were such a welcome surprise upon arrival and throughout our stay.  We had hoped to take advantage of the bikes but ran out of time.

The only ‘complaint’ we have is concerning the towels.  they must have been brand new because they had no absorbency at all.  and really, that’s hardly a complaint

Every aspect of the inn was divine.  your hospitality was gracious and your amenities unexpected.

Breakfast On-the-Go Still Earns Praise at Harrison House Suites

Oh my!  We’re we ever surprised when we saw the breakfast you packed.  All I asked for was some yogurt and granola and we got this fantastic box filled with all kinds of goodies which we nibbled on for 2 days!   Thank you for the wonderful service!  We also loved the daily variety of freshly baked cookies!

Friday Harbor Inn’s Granola Wins More Accolades

It was truly wonderful experience at Harrison House Suites last weekend.
My boyfriend was not sure about B&B setting that we stay in the same house with strangers..etc, but I convinced him to try.
He loved it! I enjoyed the small details from Camano Island soap to a card from Mollie and homemade doggie treat.

Meeting different people at the breakfast table was fun. Your Granola was supurb and I bought a bag. I eat it every morning at work.

My boyfriend already referred your website to one of his vendors.
Anyway, thank you for your hospitality and we’ll visit you again.

Than you SO much for your amazing hospitality.  Jay and I have been beside ourselves in admiration of what an incredibly well run and fantastically rewarding home and restaurant you are running!  While out on a kayak tour, we actually ran into additional families that were staying at your neighboring Tucker House, and we all agreed — your cooking, presentation, work ethic and houses were the best ever.

I am very interested in ordering a cookbook (you mentioned it was being updated) as well as see the pricing for the feathertop mattress tops.  Please send further information on those things when you can.

Granola Earns Praise at Friday Harbor Inn

Good morning:

Well we are finally settled in but sure wish we were back on your beautiful island. We just can’t stop talking about how wonderful our trip was to Seattle and San Juan.

The TLC we received from the staff and all the little fun amenities really made our trip special there at your inn. I was wondering if  there was any chance I could get a list of the ingredients that were in the great granola we had each morning(or the recipe)? I have tried to duplicate it here but don’t see anything like it in any of our gourmet cook shops.

Amazing Granola at Friday Harbor Inn

Greetings,

I am remiss in getting back to you, but want you to know that we loved our stay with you.  We particularly liked each morning at the candlelight breakfast table, and all the fabulous food you prepared for us.  The granola was amazing, and you were fabulous to send the recipe on to us.  We tried it here and it was very good, but not as good as yours there. We loved all of you on staff who cooked for us, talked to us and made us feel so welcome.

We loved the heated grapefruit with the fruit in the middle.  Have made some of those since returning home, and love  it.  Never thought to heat them.   Loved all the little amenities in our suite—lavender soaps, creams, fresh coffee , juice, trail bars , popcorn et al.  Thank you so much for all those touches of “home.”

Of course, then , there is the case of the missing Granny nightgown, which I left behind, but did not mention it , as did  not want to trouble you.  It suddenly appeared on my doorstep, sent back from you.  Thank you so much , once again.

We had a lovely time, and thank  you for making it so.
