Guests Have Extra Special Honey Moon at Harrison House Suites

We wanted to thank you for helping make our honeymoon extra special.  We stayed at your place on September 7th, 2010 and the room was perfect!  Very relaxing.  The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – so nice and comfortable.  We checked out early to get some fishing in and the staff packed us a breakfast to go that was absolutely delicious!  You guys definitely deserve 5-stars.  We are looking forward to coming back.

I just wanted to say thank you again for such a lovely stay at your B&B.  I will recommend it to anyone I know who is going your direction.  I also never got a chance to say thank you for the champagne you left for us in our room upon our arrival.  It was fun to share so many important occassions with our fellow guests, from other 50 year birthdays to honeymooners.  I can’t think of a better place to celebrate.  I hope you will be in business for many years to come and I hope we will get to see you throughout those years.

Friday Harbor Inn Provides Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

My husband Dan and I enjoyed our honeymoon with you guys Sept. 26-30.  We had an absolutely wonderful stay.  I would like to be able to indicate to you what could have been done better, but I can’t come up with much.  We were able to really slow down and relax in Four Winds after the frenetic pace of the wedding schedule, and the jetted tub really helped facilitate that.  The breakfasts were fantastic and kept us full (along with the great homemade cookies) until dinner each day.  We couldn’t have enjoyed dinner at Coho more unless we had had room for dessert, but we didn’t!

We went for a run.  We made use of the bikes and headed out to Roche Harbor.  We kayaked and rented mopeds and saw whales.  On our last evening on the island, Nancy came to give us massages.  I had been having trouble sleeping due to a muscle knot, and she worked on that knot much longer than her contracted time so that I’d be more comfortable the next day.  I was.  She was a sweetheart.

You provided just the right amount of service and autonomy to us as guests.

Than you SO much for your amazing hospitality.  Jay and I have been beside ourselves in admiration of what an incredibly well run and fantastically rewarding home and restaurant you are running!  While out on a kayak tour, we actually ran into additional families that were staying at your neighboring Tucker House, and we all agreed — your cooking, presentation, work ethic and houses were the best ever.

I am very interested in ordering a cookbook (you mentioned it was being updated) as well as see the pricing for the feathertop mattress tops.  Please send further information on those things when you can.

“Greetings, We both lost our spouses 10 days apart in 2007. We were both married for almost 50 years. We met Christmas Eve 2007 at church and we had our first date Fall of 2008. Things heated up by the first of the year and I asked her to marry me in late January. We will be staying at your B&B the second night of our honeymoon. I have been in the habit of bringing her one rose when I judge the last one is through blooming.
