Getting Here by Plane

There are several companies that fly directly into Friday Harbor airport:

Kenmore Air They fly float planes to Friday Harbor Marina from downtown Seattle's Lake Union and from Kenmore in north Seattle, as well as wheel planes to Friday Harbor Airport from Seattle's Boeing Field. They provide free shuttle service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Boeing Field or Lake Union. If you choose to fly with Kenmore Air as part of a lodging package at the Inn, we can book your reservation for your flight when you book your room and offer you a 5% discount. We are an accomodation partner with Kenmore Air.

Northwest Sea Planes They offer chartered flights to Vancouver Island and the Inside Passage.

Charter service between the islands and the destination of your choice is available from Island Air and Rose Air.

San Juan Airlines provides daily scheduled flights from Bellingham, Anacortes, and Inter-island.

If you are traveling on a private plane, The Port of Friday Airport has a 3400 by 75 foot runway, 12,500 pound weight limit, and 45 spaces for guest aircraft.

Getting around San Juan Island and Friday Harbor:

For guests who choose to come as foot passengers, San Juan Transit provides tours and island transportation.
