Breakfast at the Harrison House Suites is not to be missed. Every morning we will treat you to a hot, multi-course savory breakfast made from the freshest seasonal ingredients, delivered to your suite. Breakfast is a three-course affair starting with fresh fruit and our house-made granola and Greek-style yogurt, followed with a hot entrée of the day and a sweet treat for dessert. Our menu changes daily, and reflects the availability of local seasonal ingredients from island farms. Here are some samples of menus which we might serve on a typical week.
Many of the herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruits that we use come from local farmers throughout the San Juan Islands or from the Inn’s organic garden. We have developed relationships with local farmers and fisherman to ensure you have the very best produce, meats, fish, and cheeses available for the start of your day.
A local dairy provides us with lightly pasteurized fresh milk and cream, delivered weekly in glass jars by our “milk man.” Island farms provide us with organic free range duck and chicken eggs. Our house blend coffee is locally roasted from the San Juan Coffee Roasting Company, specializing in fresh roasting exotic Estate Grown coffees from around the world. Our selection of specialty and gourmet teas come from the mountains of China, the jungles of Japan, and the coasts of Canada and Washington State.
In addition to breakfast delivery, your suite’s full equipped kitchen is stocked with milk, juice, coffee, teas, instant oatmeal and snacks – perfect for those early risers wanting to catch the sun’s first rays or a morning jog.
For that special occasion or just because, we will pamper you with a candlelight breakfast with champagne for a small additional charge. Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice to cater to your every need!
Taking an early morning ferry? Let us know so can prepare our breakfast to-go for you, including the Inn’s house-made granola, yogurt, fruit, juice, cheese and crackers, and a baked goodie.
We accommodate a range of special dietary needs or food allergies including diabetic, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan or low-fat or low-cholesterol diets. Please let us know your preferences when making your room reservation, or at least 24 hours in advance.
