Many of the herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruits that we use at the Harrison House Suites for breakfast come from local farmers throughout the San Juan Islands, mainland Washington, or from the Inn’s organic garden. We have developed relationships with local farmers and fisherman to ensure you have the very best produce, meats, fish, and cheeses available for the start of your day. We have earned our reputation as the best breakfast on San Juan Island and we can’t wait for you to try it.

Every morning our breakfast chef will treat you to a hot, multi-course savory breakfast made from the freshest seasonal ingredients, all delivered to your suite. Prepare yourself for fresh fruit, our house-made granola and house-made Greek-style yogurt, followed by a savory hot entrée of the day and a sweet treat for dessert. Our menu changes daily, and reflects the availability of local seasonal ingredients from island farms. Here are some of our favorite breakfast recipes that we serve.
Farm to Fork Breakfast
A local dairy provides us with lightly pasteurized fresh milk and cream, delivered weekly in glass jars. Local farms provide us with organic free range chicken eggs. Our house blend coffee is locally roasted from the San Juan Coffee Roasting Company, specializing in fresh roasting exotic Estate Grown coffees from around the world. Our selection of specialty and gourmet teas come from the mountains of China, the jungles of Japan, and the coasts of Canada and Washington State.
Your suite’s fully equipped kitchen is stocked with milk, juice, coffee, teas, instant oatmeal and snacks – perfect for those early risers wanting to catch the sun’s first rays or a morning jog.
For that special occasion or just because, we’ll pamper you with a candlelight champagne breakfast for an additional charge. Let us know when you make your accommodations reservation or 24 hours prior.
Taking an early morning ferry? No need to miss breakfast. We’ll prepare our breakfast to-go for you, including the Inn’s house-made granola, house made yogurt, fruit, juice, cheese and crackers, and a baked goodie. Please let us know 24 hours prior.
